The PULSE instructors participated and conducted a skills station during the training on blood transfusion at the pre-hospital stage.
Leonid Kopus, the medical director of PULSE, says : "The training is designed to educate specifically medics, combat medics, so that they can provide assistance to a victim with hemorrhagic shock - this is a massive blood loss that leads to a disruption of bodily functions. Training and the skill of blood transfusion, in general, primarily increase the survival rate of fighters with massive bleeding injuries."
